A Hawaii Wedding

The Best Hawaii Beach Wedding Ceremony Sites On Oahu

- Ft. DeRussy Beach -

Honolulu - Waikiki
Sunset or Sunset Light - Yes

This is the one beach in Waikiki where you can still get married. While not technically Waikiki Beach where weddings are not allowed, some consider it a part of Waikiki beach and many wedding companies designate it as such.

Because of it's orientation, this beach catches sunsets during the Fall and Winter and great sunset light during the Spring and Summer months.

This beach is right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and fronting the Halokoa Hotel. It is usually pretty busy most of the day so, for the best odds, we recommend wedding cermonies on the beach to be only at the very latest times and just before sunset.

Unfortunately, there isn't any parking adjacent to the beach as you would find at many of the free beach locations we use. With that said, there is paid parking available at the Halekoa Hotel parking structure and also, paid valet or self-parking at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (which has some great restaurants for your reception). From there, it's just a short walk to the beach. If you're up to it, it's just a short walk (or cab ride) from the heart of Waikiki (a mile or less) using the streets or even walking along the beach.
