This is the one beach near Waikiki where you can have a ceremony. This location only works for the smallest weddings or 10 or less people.
Because of it's geography, this beach catches sunsets during the Fall and Winter and late afternoon sunset light during the Spring and Summer months.
This beach is right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and fronting the Halokoa Hotel. It is usually pretty busy most of the day with people lying on the beach and walking up and down the beach so, it's not the most private. With that said, it still works out quite nice. We only do wedding cermonies here at 1 hour vefore sunset.
Unfortunately, there isn't any parking adjacent to the beach. There is paid parking available at the Halekoa Hotel parking structure and also, paid valet or self-parking at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. From there, it's just a short walk to the beach. If you're up to it, it's just a short walk (or cab ride) from the heart of Waikiki (a mile or less) using the streets or even walking along the beach.
