Hawaii Wedding Photography

Whether it's just the two of you, a vow renewal, or a large wedding with family and friends, your most important memories can only be remembered through great wedding photography!
Just like "at home", cheap wedding photography means cheap low quality images performed less than competent "professionals", and nobody should have to accept that for thier wedding.
We offer the highest quality professional Hawaii wedding photography at the most reasonable prices available anywhere! Our top and primary photographer has over 25 years of professional wedding photography experience.
How It Works
A 1/2 hour photography coverage usually will provide coverage of the ceremony, portraits, shots with family and friends, and a some scenics. If you want more photography of family and bridal party, a greater variety of portraits and scenics, or are having a cake-cutting, consider 1/2 extra hour of coverage. We also do Photo-Tours using our most scenic locations.
Following the wedding, we computer process each image for the highest quality, we'll post them on a website and email you the website link so you can make your selections. After you make your selections, we'll mail you your photos. We can also make additional enlargement prints for you if you desire. Pretty simple!
Basic Photography Information
Why Digital: Our digital quality is far superior to 35mm film and the traditional wedding 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 inch film. Additionally, you'll have more uses from digital i.e. computer, digital presentations, email, conversion to B&W images, making your own re-prints, etc.
How we shoot Digital: Most wedding companies shoot their photos directly to JPEG (just like your point & shoot cameras) and many give it to you right there on the spot. It sounds good but, it really isn't. You sacrafice peed for quality.
We on the other hand, shoot our images as RAW files. This requires us to "process" each individual image for exposure, tone, color, saturation, and other parameters before being converted to JPEG. Unfortunately, this takes 2-3 hours of additional work but, it's well worth it and we do not give our clients anything less then the best, sorry. It's the best and only way to shoot professionally. Don't believe us? Learn more here.
Note: ALL of the images you see on our website are the same images we give our clients and are processed specifically for making re-prints and not just "for show" on a computer!
What happens after the wedding? We try to process and post your wedding images onto a website to make your selections within the next 3 business days but, when we have a very busy week, processing and posting your website can take up to 10 days. We'll email you instructions on how to make your selection including a link to your website. Once you have emailed us your selections, we'll mail you your images. FYI: If you absolutely must make your selection ASAP guaranteed, we suggest our RUSH service.
Here's A Short and Long Testimonial.
Jay and I will be sending you a more detailed hand-written thank you note, but we wanted to send you a quick email thanking you and you staff for the beautiful photos and video! We are SO SO PLEASED. Mahalo!!! Tracy
-----------------------------------
In May, we arrived in Oahu for the wedding of my daughter, Allison and her husband Dustin. Nearly everything about the trip was hectic -except the wedding!
The morning of the wedding saw my wife and daughter fretting over the dress and the hair appointment to ensure they had "beach do's" ready to handle the occasional sea breezes. Meanwhile, the Groom and I hiked Diamond Head crater and spent some great bonding time together. When we returned, the ladies were still getting their hair done so we gentlemen hit the pool for awhile.
A couple hours before limo time, we enjoyed taking a few family pictures together around our hotel. Right at 3:00 P.M. the limo arrived and we were off on a short ride to Makapu'u' beach where the setting was extraordinary. My friends and coworkers cannot believe the photos you shot are real. "These have to be Photoshop-ed, it is so beautiful!" one said. After a short but very sentimental and memorable ceremony, we were off to another beach for sunset shots which turned out awesome. Then it was back to the hotel for the big dinner. All told, we were gone for maybe two and a half hours but what memories we now have. Grandpa, the former Navy photographer, would approve of your photo work if he was here to see it. It was spectacular and the digital nature of the prints afforded so much more flexibility for sharing this occasion with others.
Weddings are really about memories. And, thanks to your incomparable photography, we have lasting memories we will cherish forever. The one thing I don't have is memories of stress or the inevitable hassles associated with the usual wedding problems. The whole event went like clockwork and the smile on the face of the bride shows. That alone was worth the price of admission. And to think we actually thought about having this wedding at home.
With only one child we hoped our first wedding would go well. We could not have dreamed that it would have gone as well as it did. Thank you, thank you and thank you again. Aloha, Ray Stark.
Thanks Ray!
